JEFF POWERS GUITAR

I’m Jeff Powers, a Cleveland Institute of Music graduate in Classical Guitar Performance, with over 25 years’ experience teaching guitar around Cleveland — privately, at Tri-C West, and in local studios.
 

I’ve played everything from blues and rock bands to classical recitals, duos, cigar box guitar, and solo singer-songwriter shows. I’ve released five albums of original music, written a scale book, and I’m finishing a songwriting theory course.
 

I teach the styles you actually want to play — electric or acoustic blues, classical, jamming, or singer-songwriter — plus music theory and reading. I can also transcribe any song you want to learn, across blues, rock, folk, country, or classical.
