Meet Jeff
Jeff Powers is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music in Classical Guitar Performance and has been teaching for 25+ years as an independent instructor, at Tri-C West and various studios around the Cleveland area.
Jeff has performed in many blues bands, rock bands, classical recitals, duos with guitar, cigar box guitar, and as a solo singer-songwriter. He has recorded 5 CDs of original songs, produced a book on scales, and has created a soon to be released course on songwriting theory.
Learn Your Way
Jeff is an expert in transcribing any song you want to learn, classical, blues (acoustic and electric), rock, folk, and country.
He can teach you the style of music you are interested in - be it blues, folk, classical, country, rock, or acoustic. Jeff also teaches music theory and reading.
